The Moomin Family and their friends live an adventurous life in the idyllic and peaceful Moominvalley in harmony with nature. They are a family of white and roundish trolls with large snouts. The Moomin have been featured on Arabia products already since the 1950’s! 

The fascinating, mystical Ancestor character is small and hairy. He moves only at night, and doesn't speak at all. He lives in the Moominhouse salon, behind the oven. He keeps on decorating the house by turning paintings upside down.

Writer and artist Tove Jansson's Moomins have enchanted people over the world for several decades. The first Moomin book, The Little Trolls and the Great Flood, was published for the first time in 1945 and the popularity of the Moomins has grown ever since. Professor Jansson created an extraordinarily beautiful world through her Moomin stories and illustrations where she showed that life is perfect as it is and one should enjoy it!
